National Veterans Small Business Week

Each year the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates, connects, and empowers service members during National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW). This marks the sixth annual NVSBW.

  1. SBA – Boots to Business Reboot for Veterans – November 8, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Twin Cities

Minnesota veterans and their spouses are invited to take a free entrepreneurship training course called Boots to Business Reboot.  Offered in Richfield, Minn., this class is great for any veteran, service member (including members of the National Guard and Reserves) or spouse who has an interest in starting his or her own business now or in the future.

      2. Webinar: Veteran’s in Focus – GSA’s Global Supply Program – November 19 | 2:00 pm ET/11:00 am PT

Join this webinar hosted by GSA for information on how veteran owned businesses can compete for opportunities to become a supplier to the GSA Global Supply program. You will get an overview of the GSA Global Supply program and how it fits into the National Supply System, supplying common consumable supplies such as office supplies, tools and hardware, furniture, and cleaning and janitorial products to U.S. military and civilian customers around the world.
